OpenGL is governed by an independent board, the Architecture Review Board (ARB). The ARB governs the future of OpenGL, proposing and approving changes to the specification, new releases, and conformance testing.
Members of the ARB have a vote on all issues, and each member has one vote. No member has veto power on decisions.
The ARB meets once every three months. The location of the ARB meeting rotates among the ARB members. Non-members are welcome to attend meetings, so long as space is available. If you are interested in attending, e-mail opengl-secretary@sgi.com to see if space is still available.
