Desktop Simulation

Desktop Simulation is a general-purpose systems simulator comprising a diagrammatic viewer for two-dimensional models and schematics; a geometric viewer for three-dimensional models; and a control panel/simulation interpreter that allows users to interact with the simulation in real-time.

Multiple control panels running under IRIX on Silicon Graphics, or Windows on IBM PC's or compatibles, may be attached to the simulation in a student/instructor environment. Simulation variables may be written to log files for analysis by other packages.

Typical uses include demonstrating the operation to processes at the component and/or system level; and as a interactive self-study adjunct to classroom or computer-based training curricula.
