Synu(tm) version 1.2 is a three-dimensional visualization tool used for reconstruction and display of volume and contour outline datasets. It is used primarily in the biological sciences but may be applied to any field with similar data. It runs on any MIPS based SGI hardware equipped with GT or better graphics, running IRIX 4.0 or later.

Synu includes a high-quality off-line renderer and is capable of interfacing with a variety of image, volume, and geometry data file formats.
