FlightSight is an Autonomous Air Combat Instrumentation (ACMI) system for debriefing air training and operational flights. It consists of two subsystems--the airborne subsystem, which records the data of each aircraft participating in an air flight, and the ground station subsystem, which gathers all these data. The FlightSight ground station builds a graphical display of the combined scenario, synchronously with alphanumeric display, audio lines, and the video of each aircraft. The flight can be seen in real time or be replayed from the workstation disks. The ground station is compatible with existing ACMI ranges so it can be a compact squadron-based DDS (Display and Debriefing System).
