BE Player(tm)

The BE Player(tm) is for "playing" behaviors created with the BE Designer(tm). Behaviors of interest typically include motions of three-dimensional objects. Since BE behaviors may include interfaces for interaction with the user, the Player's role is not just to render fixed sequences, but to provide an interactive experience to the user. Playing behaviors is somewhat analogous to rendering a three-dimensional geometric model which was created else where and stored in a data base. The Player must be mated with software for modeling and rendering three-dimensional shapes; an interface to Open Inventor is available. The Player runs on SUN and SGI Workstations.
