GLINT(R) is a 3-D graphics processor chip that implements the complete pixel processing layers of the Open GL standard in silicon. GLINT provides 300K shaded, Z-buffered, anti-aliased, translucent polygons per second in 24-bit true color. GLINT is ideal for integrators wishing to build high performance graphics systems that are compatible with the Open GL standard. GLINT also accelerates all the texture mapping modes of Open GL, including full mip-mapped texture with per axel perspective correction. GLINT also provides fast 2-D performance, enabling complete single chip graphics solutions. 3Dlabs also licenses the VHDL model of GLINT.
