QA C is an Automated Inspection and Quality Assurance Software Engineering tool. Performing "DEEP FLOW" inspection for the C language, the tool enables improvement in code quality and programmer productivity through the enforcement of STANDARDS and measurement of software characteristics (METRICS). If objectively compares the quality of different software packages against existing audited industrial applications and checks for the correct use of library interfaces such as Nag, IMSL, XPG3 etc. It has a GUI and displays PROGRAM STRUCTURES, CALLING TREES and an EXPLORATORY DATA ANALYSIS MODE. The product automatically inspects source code prior to compilation and checks for over 700 different potential problems, involving portability, maintainability and reliability issues as well as deviations from global or local programming standards.
