With Oracle Reports(R), users can build a wide variety of reports such as tabular reports, control break reports, multicolumn mailing labels, form letters with word-wrapping, matrix reports, and complex multisection reports. Using any number of database queries, users select data from ORACLE and even non-Oracle databases such as SQL/DS and DB2. Reports can contain an unlimited number of breaks, summaries, and master/detail sections. Instead of writing code, users enter report specifications through easy-to-use, spreadsheet-style forms. To get started, intelligent defaults automatically position columns and create column headings and display formats. Frequently needed information is available via context-sensitive on-line help and lists of values.
