Dexterous HandMaster(tm)

The Dexterous HandMaster(tm), (DHM), transduces human hand motions and provides motion commands to the slave or simulation. The DHM is designed to convert 20 human hand joint motions into control signals for a robot hand or virtual environment. This conversion is accomplished with an external mechanical linkage, or exoskeleton, which attaches to the back of the fingers and follows their motions comfortably, reliably, and accurately. The DHM can also be used for recording human motions.

The DHM can be used in conjunction with the EXOS TouchMaster(tm). The DHM is designed for use on a variety of computer platforms and is compatible with several position trackers.
