PAM-STAMP(tm) v3.0

PAM-STAMP(tm) enables professionals in industry to accurately design by numerical simulation the full stamping process, i.e., die shape, blank shape, holding conditions, etc. It allows to predict the stamped component final shape, including springback, through accurate simulation of the complete process. Besides providing a remarkable insight into the physics of the process, PAM-STAMP allows to drastically cut costs and delays by reducing the need to build and test physical die prototypes prior to final design completion. Industry validated applications range from formability assessment (i.e. detection of necking and wrinkles) to outer surface cutting pattern design, springback reduction and control, as well as multi-step design, etc. User defined friction laws can be input as an alternative to the standard default (Coulomb) law.
