The MATLAB(R) Signal Processing Toolbox is a comprehensive collection of tools for analysis of signals and linear systems and for digial signal processing (DSP) algorithm development. It builds on the numeric and visualization tools in the MATLAB technical computing environment to provide FFT and other transforms, FIR and IIR filter design, filter response and simulation, statistical signal processing, parametric modeling, waveform generation, and specialized functions for communications, embedded real-time, and multirate signal processing applications. The Toolbox provides integrated graphics for visualizing signals, spectra, spectrograms, and filter or system parameters. The Signal Processing Toolbox is delivered as MATLAB M-files, enabling users to see the algorithms and implementations, as well as to make changes or create new functions to address a specific application.
