TriTeal Enterprise Desktop (TED)

The TriTeal Enterprise Desktop (TED) is a standard-based desktop interface and development environment for SGI/MIPS ABI platforms that strictly adheres to the Common Desktop Environment (CDE) specification. The objective of CDE, and thus TED, is to allow software developers and end users alike to create and use applications in a consistent environment across heterogeneous networks of UNIX-based platforms. This common environment minimizes training, reduces operating costs, and provides a robust desktop user environment. TED will continue to follow the CDE specification, and TriTeal will release updates as functionality is added or changed in the X/Open specification.
