Mind's Eye Graphics has developed a line of translation software to allow a wide variety of application software packages to exchange polygonal and image databases. Typically, this translation software has been used for importing data into high-end animation software such as Wavefront(tm) or Alias. The translators are available as standalone compiled products or as source code toolkits for use by other Silicon Graphics(R) developers. Currently supported formats include Wavefront, AutoCAD(R) DXF, Cubicomp, Intelligent Light, Alias, ARRIS(tm), Velocity, Vertigo(tm), McDonnel Douglas GDS, Prisms, and Pixar Renderman(tm).
