Position ArMaster(tm)

The Position ArmMaster(tm) is an arm mounted device which transduces human arm motions and provides motion commands to the slave or simulation. The Position ArmMaster will allow users of robot arms working in unstructured environments to easily and rapidly manipulate objects. The use of the Position ArmMaster allows direct control via teleoperation, semi-autonomous operaion, and record and playback. In addition, it provides an essential understanding of the robot/task environment. It can also be used for recording human motions. The design uses a patent pending 2-6 DOF spatial mechanism to achieve its low profile and compact design while allowing full anatomic motions.

The Position ArmMaster can adjust to fit most male and female arms.
