EDIT*2000(tm)

EDIT*2000(tm) brings modern windowing editing facilities to the UNIX operating system, providing programmers with a more productive environment. Principal features include multiple file editing, cutting and pasting between files, undo and redo commands, brace matching, a "save & restore" session feature, and online help. A "compile from within" and "process compiler messages" feature allows the edited program or project to be compiled and corrected from within the edit session. Cutting and pasting between files make moving code easier. Undo lets you fix mistakes one stroke at a time. Online help and user-configurable keystrokes are especially designed to accelerate transitioning from other editors.
