C/Fix(tm), Version 1.0

C/Fix(tm) is a translator that converts VMS(R)-specific C code to C code that is compatible with LIBR8(tm), on UNIX systems. VMS-specific interface routines will be translated to routines that will link transparently with Open LIBR8, Accler8's library of VMS system services and runtime library calls. Features/functionality:

• Converts all VMS system service and runtime library calls to lowercase * Argument completion for VMS runtime library calls with variable arguments * Converts VMS specific forms of #include * Handles logical names in file opens and #include statements * Converts $DESCRIPTOR to DESCRIPTOR$ * Removes RMS extensions from file open calls * Converts dollar signs to underscores in VMS calls

Programmers use C/Fix to automatically resolve VAX(tm) C conventions. A C complier is required.
