The Entropic Recording Spectrograph (ERS-2000) is a two-channel, real-time spectrum analyzer that simultaneously digitizers and records signals while using X-Windows to display frequency and time domain data in real time. ERS-2000 can be used for general-purpose signal digitization, basic speech and acousitics research, communication channel monitoring, acoustic analysis and display in the technical classroom, speech therapy, and language instruction. A software-only version is available for Silicon Graphics Indigo workstations. ERS-2000 requires IRIX OS 4.0.5F or greater.
