StormWatch(tm) automatically displays severe weather information from the National Weather Service. Custom video base maps include GIS information with city names, highways, roads, lakes, rivers and railroads. A computer generated crawl scrolls with specific information about warning areas. An audio narration of crawl information is also generated from digitized voice recordings of your weather personnel. Any number of digitial voice recordings can be stored in the System. Our StormWatch(tm) Plus option allows complete severe weather coverage for the entire continental United States.
StormWatch(tm) runs on SGI Indy Workstations and is used in satellite, television broadcast and cable wether coverage applications.
