Being a non-Bengali Calcuttan like you, I'm not 100% sure but I've hummed the song long enough during my college days. “Ekiholo kano holo” (translated from the Hindi song “Yeh Kya Hua”), etc. Recommended even for people who cannot undestand bangla ! Sorry again, I think the Hindi version is a translation of the Bengali version. The movie concerned was a remake of a Bengali movie and hence the song was translated for the Hindi movie.
