LJing from Windows

So I have to use Windows for a few days to work on some stuff, and I miss the familiarity of Ubuntu. So much so that I have reduced reading mails (a good side effect) or internal news groups.

Naturally, this also had an adverse effect on blogging and blog reading frequency. For the former, though, Semagic is a great tool for posting to LJ. It is much better than drivel, which I have been using on Linux.

Apart from allowing one to post on LJ, it also has many other options such as friend post alerts, adding users as friends, etc.

True .. In addition, almost everything that needs to be done on the LJ site can be done from this sw .. which is pretty cool, since it requires far less navigation and clicks (for the daily chores, anyway..)
