Fuel cell uses blood to run

Researchers in Japan have come up with an innovative fuel cell where the “fuel” part is blood. Best of all, this cell is non toxic, and hence, could be used in artificial organs.

This month’s Linux Gazette has a great article about making your linux computing experience more interactive by using a text to speech synthesizer “festival” alongwith shell scripting.
A nice way to cheer up would be to have it dictate fortunes at (not-so-frequent) intervals..

Google Web Accelerator

http://webaccelerator.google.com/   acts as an intermediary and uses google’s infrastructure to deliver web content faster over broadband connections.
Too bad it only works for windows right now .. I would love to use it with linux.
